We strive to accommodate their schedules to ensure a valuable and educational event for all participants. Please understand that last-minute cancellations of volunteers can occasionally occur, but rest assured that our instructors are prepared with alternative options to maintain the integrity and educational value of the event.

Additionally, while we make every effort to match participants with exact trimester experiences, particularly in the first trimester, please be aware that exact matches may not always be possible. Regardless, we are committed to providing a comprehensive hands-on scanning experience that covers a wide range of obstetric and gynecologic scenarios.

During lunch breaks, we provide an informal session introducing the Midwife Certification Exam. This is an excellent opportunity to engage with instructors, ask questions, and gain insights on confidently integrating ultrasound into your clinical practice. Lunch will be provided each day.

Each group will have four students to one instructor. If you put in a request to be grouped with someone in your original paperwork, we are happy to share that we will be honoring every request. If your travel arrangements require you to leave early, please contact cgegor@gmail.com for guidance, and please make sure you see Elizabeth, our event coordinator, before you leave to ensure you fill out an evaluation form.

The days are long and have a continuous scanning schedule, so if at any point you need to excuse yourself for a restroom or personal break, please feel free. Just come back when you are ready. This is an event of two full days of scanning and working with ultrasound equipment. Make sure you are drinking water, getting snacks as needed, and wearing comfortable clothing and shoes - as you will be on your feet all day.
